Since 2007, Restaurant Amalfi has had its address on Gråbrødretorv – one of the most atmospheric squares in the Inner City. Here, Italian food meets the colorful houses, cobblestones, and city life.

Gråbrødretorv is named after the Franciscan monastery – the Grey Friars – that was located here in the Middle Ages. Today, the square is a car-free square surrounded by colorful facades, where restaurants and cafés open up under the open sky.

At Amalfi you sit in the middle of it all: out in the square when the sun is out, or inside when the evening gets cool.

Our cuisine is based on the Italian classics: stone-oven baked pizza, pasta, meat and fish – and desserts like tiramisu and panna cotta. The food is accompanied by wines from Tuscany, Veneto and Piedmont, among others.

We are open every day from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM, so the square can be the setting for both lunch and a long evening.
