From Kongens Nytorv you walk along Strøget towards the Inner City, and after about ten minutes you will be at Gråbrødretorv. Here you will find Restaurant Amalfi – an Italian eatery with tables both inside and outside on the square.
BEFORE OR AFTER THE PERFORMANCE
If you're going to the Royal Theatre, a concert or just out on the town around Kongens Nytorv, dinner at Amalfi is an obvious place to start or end the evening. The kitchen is open until 10:00 PM, so there's time for both an early dinner before the performance and a later meal afterwards.
Please book a table well in advance if you need to arrive at a specific start time - we will ensure that the evening can begin calmly.
FROM PLACE TO SQUARE
From the Kongens Nytorv metro station, follow Østergade – the first part of Strøget – towards Amagertorv. At Amagertorv, turn up one of the side streets north to Gråbrødretorv. The walk takes about ten minutes on foot.
The address is Gråbrødretorv 21, 1154 Copenhagen K. The square is car-free, so you arrive at a quiet corner of the city, even if you come from one of Copenhagen's busiest squares.
